It is almost sunset in Santa Teresa, one of the most traditional neighborhoods on the hills of Rio de Janeiro. It is Carnival Eve and everyone is excited on the street. Musicians are coming down from the hill and make a stop at the Bar do Malandro, where everything begins!


Chorinho, Samba and performances will evolve into a large Bloco de Carnaval de Bairro, with dancers, drummers and standard bearers.

The Roda de Samba will feature musical, theatrical and dance performances.

A show of danse, lights and visuals will involve the audience in the magic of the ancestors.

Carnival Concert

The audience will experience the emotion and energy of carnival in the explosion of the drums of a samba school.This Carnival Concert will cover a range of typical Brazilian genres (lambada, forró, etc).
Drummers, dancers, flag-bearer and mestre-sala will involve the audience in a carnival atmosphere.
